Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy is a way to administrate high concentrations of water-soluble vitamins directly into the bloodstream, allowing their rapid absorption. IV vitamin therapy is prescribed when the intake of vitamins or nutrients by mouth (or directly to gut) is not possible or it is not sufficient to supply the body’s needs.
