Cardiovascular rehabilitation is a complex intervention that focuses on long-term recovery and well-being of people with chronic or post-acute cardiovascular disease. Cardiac rehabilitation programmes involve exercise therapy, emotional support, nutritional counselling and heart health education aiming to reduce risk of mortality and improve cardiovascular function and quality of life.

At Y&C MedInstitute we offer a medical-led, multidisciplinary, individualised and goal-orientated approach to people with chronic and post-acute cardiovascular conditions or patients who have undergone cardiovascular interventions such as:
  • Heart failure
  • Myocardial infarction
  • Ischemic heart disease
  • Recovery from coronary angioplasty or coronary artery bypass grafting
